Honourable Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari flagged off the unique initiative, I Stand for Warriors Jaya Ho in Mumbai with a Poster Launch, organised in spirit of 75th Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav.
The idea is simple. This August 15, each of us Indians will pay tribute to the our warriors of the nation.
Dr. Anusha Srinivasan Iyer -- Egalitarian, Earth Warrior, MD -- Naarad PR and Image Strategists, Mentor -- Make Earth Green Again MEGA Foundation and Pawsitive Farm Sanctuary, veteran musical geniuses Roopkumar Rathod and Leslee Lewis, Dhanush Kodi Sivanandhan -- Former Mumbai Police Commissioner, Major General Nandiraju Srinivasrao Retd, Dr. Hari Krishna Maram -- Chairman of Vision Digital India, Entrepreneur- Social Activist Eram Faridi, Swayambhu Vishwakarma Awardwinning Vastu Astroyogi Basannt R Rasiwasia, Prof A.B.Pandit -- VC for Institute of Chemical Technology, Dr. Vaibhav R Deogirkar, Medical Director -- HJ Doshi Hospital, Dr. Srinivasan R Iyengar, Director --JBIMS, Jagjeevan Kanyal -- Social Reformer, and many others gathered at the Institute of Chemical Technology, to establish their solidarity and request the masses to pay tribute to Freedom Fighters, Soldiers, Frontline Health warriors on the 75th Independence Day of India, August 15th, where Indians across the World stand and sing National Anthem at noon to create a world record.
This will be one unique initiative where Educationists, Defence Personnel, NGO Leaders stand up for those who defend our nation.
While the dignitaries expressed their support, Roopkumar Rathod had the audiences energised with his impromptu rendering of Sandese Aate Hain. Leslee Lewis admitted that while science may not be his thing to the scientist audience, he added with his characteristic sense of humour that he knew the other best thing -- to tune into their frequencies with music!
Indeed, the audiences were more than tuned in. Jaya Ho, chanted the crowd. And on August 15, this nation will chant Jaya Ho. And support the brave Indian soldiers, police and frontline warriors. Yours to join the movement by taking a moment and standing for those who selflessly stand up for Mother India and her million citizens and thanking these brave sons of the soil in your own small way.
